Markkus started working for Essential Services in June of 2024 as a Human Resources Specialist. Markkus has a background in sales, customer service, and interpersonal relations. This background has equipped him with the skill set needed to identify and hire quality Direct Support Professionals, providing clients with the best possible care quickly and efficiently. 

Markkus is a strong believer in the importance of community inclusion and is proud to be working for a company that is providing that to the I/DD Community. He has seen firsthand how DSPs can make a positive impact on people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Setting DSPs on a path to make that positive impact is what makes Markkus glad to be part of the HR team at Essential Services.
