What Is Attendant Care?
Attendant Care is a service that supports individuals with daily tasks while promoting independence. Each person’s care is guided by their Individual Support Plan (ISP), created by their case manager or personal agent. At Essential Services, we use this plan—along with the individual’s preferences and goals—to thoughtfully match them with a Direct Support Professional (DSP) who can provide the right support while respecting their lifestyle and routine.
We offer both 1:1 and 2:1 care depending on the individual’s level of need:
- 1:1 Care – One-on-one support for those who need consistent personal assistance.
- 2:1 Care – Two caregivers providing additional support for one individual with qualifying care needs.
This service is ideal for adults, seniors, and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities who require extra assistance with everyday activities.
